Public Health England Announcement

It is very unfortunate that we have all been affected by COVID-19 and we hope that everyone is staying safe and taking good care of their health.

As an Aesthetic Clinic, we are very much looking forward to re-opening our Clinic to welcome you all back. Our Head Practitioner and staff have ensured that they are taking all the necessary precautions regarding COVID-19 safety measurements. Throughout our time of closure, courses such as the BARBICIDE® COVID-19 and the World Health Organization (WHO) – Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) for COVID-19 Virus, have been completed and the certification is clearly placed in the Clinic.

However, as announced by Public Health England, The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) (England) Regulations 2020, on July 3rd, all Aesthetic Clinic’s must remain closed for the time being. It is unfortunate that all appointments are frozen until we are given further information regarding when our Clinic can re-open.

We thank you all for your understanding and apologise deeply that we are unable to open.

Your Safety First

In these very challenging times for all of us, our Clinic must do everything to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect our patients, clinical staff, and visitors. Therefore, we have set strict sanitary rules on our Clinic that staff and clients must follow.

Before your arrival, our Clinic manager will contact you to inform you about our sanitary rules and ask specific questions about your current health condition, focusing on the symptoms of Coronavirus.

In order to decrease the spread of COVID-19 and to protect fellow staff and patients, it is essential to take every precaution, to ensure that anyone entering our Clinic has been symptom-free for two weeks.

Upon your arrival, our trained Clinic staff will brief you verbally on our protocols, ask you questions about your health condition, and check your temperature.

Patients who have high temperature and/or other COVID symptoms (e.g. coughing) will not be permitted to enter our facility; there are no exceptions.

At Dermanda clinic, the wearing of a face mask is mandatory. We can provide this equipment for free if needed. We will also kindly ask you to use hand sanitisers regularly, which is available at the Clinic.

Disinfecting

Hygiene has always been very important at our clinic. Cleaning and disinfecting is the most important thing that we can do to make clients feel safe at our Clinic. Therefore, we have created a special protocol on top of our high-level cleaning and disinfecting regulations.

The waiting rooms are always continuously disinfected.

Treatment rooms are always disinfected after every patient visit: all surfaces in the room, the touch screens, and even the door handle. We will use pre-packed, sterilised tools for the treatments, that will only be opened right before use.

Sanitizing station and plastic separator are installed by the door entrance, and we disinfect regularly pens and surfaces to make the check-in safe too.

Protective gear

Because of the close and sustained proximity to the patient (particularly among practitioner and their staff), Clinical staff will always wear special protective equipment. Face shields are worn in tandem with a medical face mask, alongside an isolation gown and surgical-grade nitrile gloves.

Distancing

We have ensured there is a safe distance between waiting room chairs, to help you to keep a safe distance from others during your stay. The maximum number of patients in the waiting room is two people at most.

Signage

We have placed informative and clear signage around the Clinic. We hope these will help to provide guidance and answers to any questions you may have.
